Manufacturers Description “mimic’s the traditional whiskey with a single malted barley texture with a subtle oak cask aged taste. This flavour can be mixed with other cold beverage flavours to create your own unique flavours.“

SnV

Peat forward that adds a smoky flavour followed by a fermented grain for a generic scotch whiskey like taste and some light Oak, this to me tastes like a single malt due to the grain note but not rye. This is very lightly sweet but not as sweet as a Bourbon

7 Day Steep

Increase in strength. The peat note has faded to the background with the fermented grain note coming forward no other change

14 Day Steep

No change

21 Day Steep

No change

42 Day Steep

Suggested Usage

I’d use this as an accent 0.5%-1%, Background 1%-1.5%, Main 1.5%-2%

If you wanted this stand-alone, I’d suggest 2%-3%

I’d use this with darker fruits, Tobacco, Beverage, Cream, Bakery

Summary

This is a single grain forward whiskey, with some smoky peat like notes providing the background with some light oak accents, for me this tastes very much like a single malt whiskey. Use this wherever you want an authentic scotch whiskey taste, use for cocktails, tobaccos and darker berries

Flavour House Recommended usage: - 2-5% in a Mix – Standalone 5-9%
