Manufacturers Description “Celebration of ripe, red & fresh Cherry. Taste of soft skin and pulp reminds the cherry compote from the childhood.”
SnV
This is a waxy red cherry with some slight plastic and a strong medicinal off note
7 Day steep
The off notes are now reducing
14 Day steep
No change
21 Day Steep
There is still a medicinal off note present although it has reduced from SnV, the plastic off note has gone completely, behind the off note is a sweet and juicy red cherry with a waxy mouthfeel
28 Day Steep
This has now become a sweet red cherry, there are still some low off notes in the background that are plastic/medicinal like but are low enough to get covered in a mix
Suggested Usage
I’d use this 0.5%-1% as an accent, 1%-1.5% as a background flavour, 1.5%-3% as the main flavour
If you wanted this as a standalone flavour, I’d suggest 3%-5%.
I’d use with Creams, Fruits, Candy, Alcohol and other beverages
Summary
After a 4 week this becomes a sweet red cherry and loses most of the off notes I had from a SnV, this is slightly juicy and realistic with a slight waxy mouthfeel, there is still a very slight medicinal/plastic like off note in the background that would get covered in a mix. As a main flavour I would start at 1.5% and build up to ensure that you either don’t get any off notes or they remain light enough to get covered up
Molinberry Recommended usage: - 6%-7%
